Fan art is art derived or inspired by characters, themes and worlds from works of fiction. I was producing fan art before I knew of the genre’s existence, sketching in my childhood from my favourite science fiction and fantasy films. Today my influences range from computer games to pop culture and are mainly expressed in watercolour using an abstract, template assisted ‘splatter’ style.
